CANalyzer.J1939, Version 7.0

Features and Advantages:

In addition to CANalyzer's high-performance functionality, the J1939 extension gives the user a tool that can be used from initial development to production of a J1939 project. The J1939-specific extension allows the user to concentrate on the actual tasks of data analysis without detailed knowledge of the J1939 protocol. This significantly increases the efficiency of data analysis. Misinterpretations of CAN frames are avoided.

Functions:

CANalyzer.J1939 expands the standard functionality of the CANalyzer with:

  • Protocol-specific representation in the Trace Window
  • Support for the BAM and CMDT transport protocols
  • Graphic display of the network nodes (scanner)
  • Expanded database
  • Expanded Generator Block
  • J1939-specific programming functional properties in CAPL
  • Diagnostic Trouble Code Monitor (DTC Monitor)
  • Diagnostic Memory Dialog (DiagMem)

New Functions of Version 7.0:

Extended display options in the Trace Window

  • Individual lines in the Trace Window can be color-coded according to their subject matter (transport protocols, diagnostics, network management) or customized by the user. This enhances readability of the output.
  • The quick search function lets the user have related events displayed directly in the Trace Window. For example, it is possible to display the jump from a request to a response.
  • It is easy to reduce the output in the Trace Window using a filter without requiring modification of the measurement setup.

Time-synchronous display in the analysis windows

  • Data may be displayed time-synchronous across the various windows. For example, this might be used to simultaneously track the display of a DTC in the Trouble Code Monitor and jump directly to the Trace Window.

Optimized Trouble Code Monitor

  • Support of additional DM services and improved display representation.
